7 online learning habits of top-scoring students
1. Fix a daily study time
Discipline beats motivation. Students who study at the same hour every day complete courses at three times the rate of those who "study when free".
2. Take notes by hand
Even in a video course, handwritten notes force your brain to process the material instead of passively watching.
3. Finish every quiz — twice
Attempt the quiz right after the lesson, then again three days later. The second attempt is where real memory forms.
4. Use the 25/5 rule
Study 25 minutes, rest 5. Four cycles equal a serious two-hour session without burnout.
5. Remove your phone from the room
Not silent. Not face down. Out of the room entirely.
6. Track your progress visually
Your dashboard progress bar isn't decoration — watching it fill up is genuine motivation.
7. Teach someone else
Explain today's lesson to a sibling or friend. If you can't explain it simply, you haven't learned it yet.
